A prophetic word

I hear the words “Fresh creativity”! Heavenly inspired ideas are coming! New arrangements and reconstruction will begin on each of the seven mountains- government, media, arts/entertainment, religion, education, economy, & family. Old ways are failing; new ways are coming!

We’ve started a big garden this spring, which has felt prophetic in many ways. The Lord has spoken so much throughout the process of turning hard, weed covered ground into a fertile garden. The Holy Spirit showed me the soil of our lives and of our nation is being turned, weeds being uprooted and smothered, new seeds being planted. Those that have been in one place for a long time, may be moved to plant somewhere else because the soil where you are is depleted of the nutrients your gifting needs. Just as gardeners rotate crops to regenerate the nutrients of the soil and provide adequate nutrition for the plants, God moves His people in different ways to produce fruit in a new space. That might be a physical location, it might be the people you’re surrounded by, it might be a place you work, play, or serve, but pay close attention to the places that aren’t bearing fruit like they used to. Further more, pay close attention to the ideas and passions you feel the desire to pursue, regardless of risk, fear, or how odd they may seem.

Pay attention to the mountain God is calling you to. You just might be called to a different mountain for a season. Maybe you’ve been a pastor(mountain of religion) or a teacher(education) and God is putting in you a desire for government, or ideas for media! It might go against the grain of what you’re used to, but He will work through you and produce much fruit through your obedience and faith!

You might be called to keep doing what you’ve always done, but have felt dormant and fruitless for a season. Fresh water is being poured out and you will be revived again-thriving and fruitful in all He has called you to do!

For the weeds that try to come up around us, we are to guard ourselves with a garment of praise. Isaiah 61:3 says “To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:3 NKJV

My Bible commentary says, “the Hebrew root word for ‘garment’ (‘atah) shows praise as more than a piece of clothing casually thrown over the shoulders. It literally teaches us to ‘wrap or cover’ ourselves-that the garment of praise is to leave no openings through which hostile elements can penetrate. This garment of praise repels and replaces the heavy spirit. This special message of instruction and hope is for those oppressed by fear or doubt. “Put on” this garment. A warm coat from our closet only resists the cold wind when it is “put on.“ When distressed, be dressed – with praise! Act according to God‘s word!“

Isaiah 61 promises a double portion of prosperity in our land for the day of the Lord’s favor has come to reward those who have endured suffering and loss that they may have everlasting joy.

Let’s put on our garments of praise and move forward into all God has for us in this next season!
